Weekly Service Opportunity

This Week

We are excited to announce that next week we will be hosting potluck gatherings in various homes within our church community. We are fortunate to have several generous individuals who have opened their homes to us, and we would like to extend a warm invitation for you to participate. This is an opportunity for us to share a meal, laughter, and conversation in a more intimate setting.

To ensure that these gatherings are as inclusive and enjoyable as possible, we kindly request that you sign up this week for the home you would like to attend. To sign up, contact the office to be included in the weekly emails.

The hosts are serving by providing their homes, and the rest of us have the wonderful opportunity to serve by bringing a potluck dish or two to share. There will also be a home that is designated for guests and visitors on that Sabbath.

The sign-up sheet will also be available this Sabbath on the back table as you enter or exit the sanctuary. Thank you for participating as a guest or host and building community in this way together.

Thank you for serving with us in this series thus far!

Last Week

Starting this Sabbath, we are launching a monthly Sabbath visitation program. The elders of our church, along with any willing volunteers, will set aside one Sabbath each month to visit those members of our congregation who, due to various reasons, are unable to be with us on a regular basis. If you are interested in participating in this program let the church office know by phone or email.

If you are unable to visit people in person, we have another way you can show your love and support. We encourage you to fill out the postcard that will be available in the pew and write a heartfelt message to a fellow church member. When you are done with it, there will be a box on the back table, and our staff will take care of the postage and mailing. Our hope is that through these monthly visits and postcards, we can make those who are unable to attend church regularly to feel more connected to our church family.
