The Winter is Over’ explores the transition from a “frozen” season of waiting to the moment hope finally breaks through. By pairing the imagery of the earth thawing in Song of Solomon with the patient endurance in James, we see that our “winter” isn’t empty—it is the necessary preparation for a new season. Easter is the ultimate announcement that the ice has cracked; the Resurrection is the physical “first fruit” of a world reawakening. We are invited to step out of the tomb of survival mode and trust that the dormant parts of our lives are finally ready to rise and bloom.
