The Audacity of Kids

Sometimes, it’s the kids who see most clearly. We who are older become accustomed to compromises and hypocrisies because that’s just the way life works. But then a kid reads the Gospel and asks about the audacious words written there. And sometimes, if we listen, we will hear a new call to action. If we pay attention to the direction they are looking we will see a new vision. The audacity of the kids may stir us to greatness.
