Saving the King

Synopsis:  Jesus was king. Still, just like every other baby and every other king, he needed a lot of help. Fortunately, help was available–an attentive mother, a temporary crib in the barn, gifts from rich people from Persia, a donkey to carry him to a place of asylum, farmers to grow his food, merchants to make it available in the market. King Jesus still needs lots of help. And fortunately, it’s available. We are doing it–laundry, writing code, fixing broken curbs, housing sick people, repairing roofs–all vital operations in the kingdom of God on earth.
