Receptions

A reception hall is available for small wedding receptions. The hall accommodates approximately 100 people seated at tables or 200 people standing.

The fee includes use of the hall for three (3) hours following the wedding as well as set-up and tear-down of the tables and chairs.

The reception hall will be equipped with tables (rounds and rectangulars), chairs, and a sound system operator. Table linens, utensils, flatware, serviceware, beverage containers, and cleaning supplies must be provided by the wedding party.

The kitchen is equipped with three ovens (all convection), four warming drawers, one microwave, two refrigerators, one commercial dishwasher, two sinks, a movable island for food preparation and staging, and a serving counter.

Church policy excludes alcoholic beverages and smoking on the premises. Refreshments must be consumed in the reception hall and not elsewhere on the premises.

The wedding party is responsible for removing all items from the reception hall and kitchen prior to leaving. Everything must be out of the building for the convenience of other groups using the facility.

If the bride and groom prefer to use their own Reception Coordinator, a consultation to make the necessary arrangements will be held with the assigned Green Lake Church Ceremony Coordinator and the Reception Liaison prior to the wedding.
