Jr Choir
The Junior Choir features young musicians in kindergarten through sixth grade and offers them an opportunity for musical expression and performance. All elementary school-aged children are welcome to participate and learn how to play hand chimes, percussion instruments, and, of course, sing. Junior Choir is under the direction of Shelly LaGrone, who holds a degree in Music Education. The Junior Choir presents music for various church services throughout the year. Rehearsal time: each Sabbath, September thru May, 9:30 to 10:00 a.m., Room 203.
Cherub Choir
The Cherub Choir is for children ages 3-6 years old. We sing and discover some basic musical concepts using movement and musical activities. Music is learned both during rehearsal and by listening to provided recordings at home. These young singers have the opportunity to perform at some of the main church services throughout the year. Rehearsals are Sabbath mornings 9:30-10:00 in the chapel. Cherub Choir meets October-December and February-April. Director: Karen Baker.
