On the fourth Sunday evening of each month, Green Lake Church is providing a meal for approximately 75 homeless individuals at the Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 12509 27th Avenue NE in Lake City. You are welcome to be part of offering hospitality to these individuals. How? Bring a salad, dessert, or beverage; transport food; pray; serve the meal; sit with them and grow relationships. Ways to volunteer:
- Cooking/Prepping the meal
- Packing meals-to-go containers
- Handing out meals at the church entrance
- Volunteers are asked to sign up to bring a food item
Both the volunteers and those who receive the meals are required to have a mask and use hand sanitizer. Masks and hand sanitizer are available for anyone who needes it.
