The Biblical story starts with this description: When God formed Adam, he made him out of the dust of the ground. Remarkable really. Creation began with God molding humanity from dirt.
Later, Psalms 103, reflecting on this moment, says: “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.” Dirt, dust, humanity…all of it reflects the image of God. How we interpret that meaning makes all the difference. Join us for part two of our Experiencing God Series.
