Synopsis
For decades Simeon lived with longing to see God do something more. He hungered for a divine breakthrough. When he encountered the Christ child in the temple he said, “Enough. I am satisfied.” This was a milestone so rich and grand that witnessing it, being present for that moment, was enough. May God grant us vision so keen and clear that we can see God’s engagement with our world and say, “Enough. Thank you. That is quite enough–for now.” God’s Spirit is even now alive and active in the world. Let’s cooperate as we can, and trust God to bring about the eventual triumph of the Kingdom of Heaven.
