The Commandment Series: Love God

The command to “love God” is best understood as a description of our natural human response to a clear vision of the goodness, magnanimity, integrity, fairness, etc., etc., of God. In worship we practice admiration. Our testimony to the world is not an order to love but a description of the One who is lovable about all others. Or something like that.
