Are You Called?

In the Christin faith we talk about God’s calling.  For many years, I believed that the only calling one has was to be a pastor.  My dream was to be a businessman.  That dream and hope was dashed; I registered at CUC to train as a minister. In my final year, my professor told me I was not cut out to be a pastor.  So, I graduated in theology and went on to being a businessman.  My professor reminded me that “everyone was called to ministry—to SERVE.”
