Candlelight Christmas Concert
Each December for more than fifty years, the Green Lake Church has presented a very special evening of music and readings, scripture and carols. For many, the Candlelight Christmas Concert provides an important opportunity to pause in the midst of this busy season, sit quietly in our beautiful sanctuary, and reflect on the incredible gift God provided to us all through the birth of the baby Jesus more than two thousand years ago.

This year’s 52nd annual concert takes place Friday evening, December 16, at 7:30 p.m., and will feature the choirs and orchestra of Green Lake Church including beautiful carol settings by John Rutter, Philip W.J. Stopford, and Chip Davis. An offering will be collected for local charity Aurora Commons. The program will conclude with the singing of several congregational carols by candlelight led by the choir and orchestra, followed by a reception in the auditorium below the sanctuary.

All are invited – all are welcome! So invite your friends and neighbors to share this beautiful evening with you. You could be the person who provides much-needed comfort and joy to someone this Christmas. Childcare will be provided.
